This latest investment, led by B Capital, increases the total Series A funding to $16 million, with participation from previous investors including MassMutual Ventures, Tanglin Venture Partners, Endiya Partners, and Cure.Fit.
The new funding will be utilized to enhance Sugar.fit’s technology stack and product offerings, bolster brand presence, and accelerate research and development efforts in diabetes management.
This comes at a crucial time as diabetes prevalence escalates globally, particularly in India, where an estimated 230 million individuals are affected by Type 2 diabetes and prediabetes.
Sugar.fit’s innovative care program leverages technology and personalized human intervention, employing continuous glucose monitors, fitness trackers, and health diagnostics to monitor the real-time impact of lifestyle choices on glucose levels.
With a success rate of 90% of users seeing reduced sugar levels and decreased medicine dependency, Sugar.fit’s approach has proven effective.
Expanding its reach, Sugar.fit has established seven state-of-the-art Diabetes Clinics in Bangalore, offering a variety of wellness therapies alongside traditional care.
These clinics serve to increase visibility and provide a holistic approach to diabetes management.
